Hi there.

I've built a few Radio Controlled 1/8 scale hydros over the last few years for racing. Plans are easy to get for some of them.

But I would like to build a model of one of the oldest boats on our R/C U Master Hull Roster.

The 'My Sin' which was the original hull for the TempoVI.

So I am looking for drawings or plans for this hull, & since the Museum has done a restoration on this boat I was hoping someone might be able to help.

I only need some basic top & side, & front views & the bulkhead sections through the hull. I can draw up some plans from that. But anything else would be greatly appreciated.Just something that can be emailed will be fine. I can scale it up from that.

I'm also toying with the idea of building the extended version of the Tempo VI as run by Guy Lombardo. So any info on that would be great, but it doesn't look too difficult for me to draw up something for the extension from all the photos I've seen.

I appreciate any info on this project.

Here's a couple of boats I've built to give you an idea of the fun we have with these things.

The Miss America U-36, & the U-95.

I'm building a Gas Scale Unlimited of the 1981 Squire Shop and am getting close to the painting stage. I have the paint sheet from Newton Marine and a decal package on the way but need to know the correct paint colors/codes for the boat. With plans to restore the 79 Squire Shop, I have to believe someone from the museum would have or know where to find the proper paint colors/codes. Thanks in advance!

The Bill Muncey Memorial is more like a shrine to those that knew the man. And well deserved. His impact on Local and International levels of Hydroplane Racing is legendary. The Memorial is in needy disrepair. We need help with all phases of the project. If you have access to a speedy process through the Permitting. Or are a Bonafide Contractor, or . . . contact our Committee as soon as possible. We have five weeks.

Just added a few pictures of the 1958 Bardahl restoration. Yes, we are still plugging away. But good progress is being made thanks to a loyal and committed group.

Vertical fin on Shanty II...tag:thunderboats.ning.com,2012-09-23:6315479:Topic:529302012-09-23T02:22:33.898ZSteve Wilkiehttp://thunderboats.ning.com/profile/SteveWilkie

Hi Guys! I'm slowly figuring out the web-site and this is my first post. Had a BLAST at the Museum!

I want to make another vertical stabilizer for Shanty II. The one I have on it now I made before I had a picture of it; It's way to fat and upright. So, having looked at a lot of pics from the era, I'm thinking it was a flat sided affair with no aerodynamic cross section? Were most boats tails that way? What's your opinion?

Also, in Mr. Doug Fords' book "What Were They Thinking"…

Also, in Mr. Doug Fords' book "What Were They Thinking" I would like to obtain really good copies of 3 pictures that I believe you have (page 79, schematic. page 81, roll over, and page 84, front ski). How do I go about this? I will pay you for any expenses that it might take to get good prints of these, of course.
