Hydroplane and Raceboat Museum

We're racing through history!

The 4th Annual Roger Newton Memorial scale model unlimited hydroplane show will be held at the Hydroplane and Raceboat Museum in Kent, Washington on Saturday, February 11th from 11:00 AM until 4:00 PM.

Admission is just $5.00 for the general public and is free to all Museum members. A pizza lunch will be available.

Come and learn about the exciting sport of scale model unlimited hydroplane racing from some of the nation's best model builders. Over 50 of these beautiful creations will be on display.

This scale model of the Hawaii Kai III won the 2011 Electric Radio Controlled Unlimiteds High-Point Championship. The model is owned and operated by Dr. Benjamin Keller of Tacoma, Washington.

A visit to the Hydroplane and Raceboat Museum is also a trip down boat racing's memory lane. Vintage unlimited hydroplanes on display include Atlas Van Lines, two Miss Budweisers, Oh Boy! Oberto, Miss Burien, and Miss Wahoo!
