Your grandfather is Peter Woeck? Holy cow, that's terrific!  The story of the Tempest is pure underdog vs. the big boys. It reads like a great movie. Your grandpa and the U-4 crew were a great contribution to the legacy of hydroplane racing. Happy you got to see my recreation in vintage tether-boat form. Thanks again for the kind words.

Can't imagine there's a model of that boat.  I believe that's my Grandfather's first hydro - that became the first Miss Bardahl and then the first Miss Burien.....Great Model
