We're racing through history!

Ole Bardahl asked Ed Karelsen to build a new hull for the 1967 season after the cabover crashed in Washington DC. The Bardahl did so well in 1967 with Schumacher driving, winning 6 out of 8 races that Bernie Little and Tom Friedkin ordered Karelsen to build another one for the Budweiser team. The combined wins for these two champion hulls were 21 and accounted for 5 straight National championships and 4 straight gold cup wins starting in 1967. Jim Kerth can be seen chatting with some crew members. Although Jim wasn't involved with the two racing boats shown he was crew chief on the 1966 Notre Dame, 1971-72 Atlas Van Lines ,1968 Myr's Special , 1969 Myr's Sheet Metal, 1975 Miss US and 1983 Miss Renault totaling 16 wins as a crew chief.

What are the odds that the Bud 1968 can be made sea worthy?
