Miss Bud on display at a shopping mall in Mission Valley, CA before the Bayfair race in Mission Bay that weekend, 1989.
I was in awe at the workmanship and spare no expense approach to this rig. The machined parts of the rudder pivot, the "BUD" stamped into the exhaust support, the pinstriping on the trailer... How about the chromed bench vise on the trailer. The inscription on the transom reads, "Somebody still cares about quality." Indeed.
