Steve,

Unless there's something going on surreptitously behind the scenes, I very strongly doubt  that there are any plans to bring the boat to Detroit this year. The team is working every day just to get the boat ready for Seafair. Be reminded that even before we get to Seafair, we need to do some testing and we're still working on a lot of things.

If you would like to send me a PM with your address I can put you on the distribution list to receive my infrequent and irreverent photos and reports.

Steve, I'll try and post a few photos of the move.

The 'Blaster is far from done, but we had to move the boat out of the shop to make room for the Hurricane IV. Everything that remains to be done on the 'Blaster can be accomplished in the new location.

Although the boat looks nearly finished we still need to install the engine and gearbox, a lot of plumbing (mostly hoses) and electrics, including the instrument panel and gages. We're scheduled to run the boat at Seafair (first weekend of August) so lots to do, including testing.

Thanks for the note

Phil
