4th Annual Doha Slumber Party is CANCELED

 I'm sorry to have to announce that due to schedule changes and bad weather in the Middle East, the 4th Annual Hydro Museum Slumber Party has been canceled.
 
In the past, we have had been able to watch nine heats of racing. (Four heats archived from earlier in the event, and five heats, including the final live.)
 
This year due to threatening weather in Doha, all eight of the preliminary heats have been run ahead of schedule, but as of this writing, are not yet available in the archive. The final heat is apparently still on schedule to run at 3PM Saturday Doha time. (4 AM Seattle time) but I'm reading that there are also 40 MPH winds forecast for Saturday in Doha. 
 
As it stands now, if we started the party at our normal 10 PM, there would be six hours of a blank screen, until the final heat is scheduled, and even then there is a very strong possibility that high winds might cause the final to be canceled.
 
Bearing all this in mind, it seemed like the right thing to cancel the party.
