We're racing through history!

Leif Borgersen bobbled in Lake Washington after abandoning the U-95 when the turbine powered unlimited hydroplane broke down in Heat I-C of yesterday's Gold Cup race and began to sink. Despite rescue efforts, the hydro went to the bottom of the lake. Efforts to salvage.the boat were to be made today. Borgersen suffered nothing more than a cooling dunk on a hot day.
