Hi David, thanks for the reply! No problem, I know people are busy! Your dragster sounds very interesting. Never saw one here in the states with the motor that you have in yours. Where to you race in the UK? The only track I know of is Santa Pod. I would like to go there some day! I am planning on taking my Mother back next May, if her health allows her. She is 82 yrs. old. I retired from racing in 2002, but did some testing on an ex's Top Dragster for him in 07' and 08' But, now I am back to my roots, boat racing. My father use to race boats when I was young. Do you have a Face Book page? As I have over 200+ friends who are into boat racing. Mostly inboard Hydros. I will try and attache a photo of my old Neil and Parks dragster. Chevy 500ci./ Kuhl 871 supercharger. I ran in the Super Eliminator and Top Dragster classes.

Regards,

Kim

Hi All. I'm currently writing the definitive history of the Water Speed Record. If any of you have any first-hand anecdotes about the record-breaking exploits of people such as Lee Taylor, John Beaudoin, Guy Lombardo, Les Staudacher, Roy Duby, Dean Chenoweth, Bill Muncey, Jim McCormick, Craig Arfons, Lee Mize, Gene Woodland, Kitty O'Neil et al  - even Art Arfons and Craig Breedlove with their stillborn projects - I'd love to hear from you either here or via email (restspirit@aol.com). Thanks and best regards, David

Hi David! What part of England are you from? I was born in Warrington @ Burtonwood AF base. I see you drive a dragster. What class? I drove NHRA and IHRA Top Dragster, but retired in 2002 with exception of some testing in 07' and 08'
