Never mind. I asked some family members, and found out the 2 blue chunks are from the Notre Dame. In 1967, The Tahoe Miss lost it's rudder control, and spun right into the path of the Notre Dame. The Notre Dame ramped the Tahoe Miss, flying into the air, and was destroyed when it hit the water again, and my dad's cousin Howard picked them out of the water. I also found out my grandpa ran the Stan Sayres Pits during the races in Seattle from 1966 to 1972. He was the "Pit Boss".It was the other way around. I was a good friend of Chuck Hickling, who was driving the Harrah's Club - which unavoidably ran over the Notre Dame driven by Jack Regas - I was there (and have the clippings from the race if you're interested) - Mike
I'll scan them when I get a chance. Let me know how I can get them to you....(email attachment or other)...Mike
