Is it possible to find out what broken Hydroplane pieces i have?

I have 2 chunks of a blue hydroplane, left to me from my grand father. I assume its from the Atlas Van Lines boat. (my grandpa had ties with it, as well as a few others.) But what i'd like to know, is if these are pieces from Muncey's Wreak in 81, or if they are just from another boat. My grandpa wouldn't of kept them for no reason i don't think. Or he probably would of had more pieces from many boats he worked with. Something is telling me that it was important to him to keep them. Here's the picture. Thanks for your time guys!

Never mind. I asked some family members, and found out the 2 blue chunks are from the Notre Dame. In 1967, The Tahoe Miss lost it's rudder control, and spun right into the path of the Notre Dame. The Notre Dame ramped the Tahoe Miss, flying into the air, and was destroyed when it hit the water again, and my dad's cousin Howard picked them out of the water. I also found out my grandpa ran the Stan Sayres Pits during the races in Seattle from 1966 to 1972. He was the "Pit Boss".

And i also just found out, that before he got Dementia, he donated a lot of his personal Items to this museum. Like his Thriftway Too ring, his jackets, and lots of other stuff. So i can go check it all out! hat makes me happy.

It was the other way around.  I was a good friend of Chuck Hickling, who was driving the Harrah's Club - which unavoidably ran over the Notre Dame driven by Jack Regas - I was there (and have the clippings from the race if you're interested) - Mike
