Budweiser Steering wheel Help !

Can anyone help me. I was given this Steering wheel by a friend that said it was a promo item for the Miss Budweiser racing boat. I can't find out anything about it.  It is leather wrapped and says france on the metal that is exposed. If anyone can help that would be great.  Thank You   Dawn

ive never seen that kind of wheel on a vintage boat it might be for a turbine boat but i think most of the turbine boats have quick release racing type steering wheels im not a expert but you could bring it to the museum or go to david williams the director of the museums page and ask him about it, he is a walking encyclopedia of race boat knowledge
