For all who remember Ray Crawford and his hydroplane "Zephyr Fury" (U-44), you might be interested in my page that pays tribute to Ray's life and racing exploits. I am in the process of writing a major biography that follows Ray from his service in WWII as a P-38 fighter ace to his victory in the 1954 Mexican Road Race and his achievements at Indianapolis.
