NOTRE DAME WAS DESTROYED JUNE 6, 1966. THIS MUST BE FROM A PREVIOUS YEAR.

Hi Mark, This morning I am looking at the photo's I have and this is the pitting order as I see it. Looking from the water side left to right, Budweiser, Bardahl, Chysler Crew, Madison, Tahoe Miss, Lapeer, $ Bill, Savairs Mist, Loaner, Wayfarers Club, My Gypsy, Notre Dame, Dixie Cola & Gales Roostertail (14 boats). The Madison to $ Bill line up is the one I am not completely sure about. I will post the black & white photos I have. I am the Geek standing in front of Notre Dame. My Cousin, Bob Jones is standing in front of the Budweiser. He took the photo of me and I of Him, the only two photos we took of each other. Take Care!

Gary, You took great photos of the President's Cup boats especially for a 14 year old . Your photographs have helped me recreate the pitting order of that fateful race. The Notre Dame had My Gypsy and U-19 to her right and Smirnoff on the left. Probably doesn't mean much to most but to me it means a lot. Thank you.

Hey Mark, A day I will never forget. I was just getting into photographing the boats at age 14. That photo of Notre Dame is probably my Favorite. I think that was the most beautiful boat!
