Hydroplane & Raceboat Museum Hall of Champions

Come join us at the induction of Gar Wood and Dean Chenoweth into the Hydroplane & Raceboat Museum Hall of Champions on May 14th. Gar and Dean will joining previous inductees Bill Muncey and Chip Hanauer.

Gar Wood was the superstar of the pre-World War II era, winning 5 Gold Cups, 8 Harmsworth Trophy Races and setting 6 world water speed records.

Dean Chenoweth won 4 Gold Cups, 4 National Championships from 1970-1981 and ranks third all time with 25 unlimited hydroplane victories.

The event at the museum begins with a social hour at 6pm.  Dinner is at 7pm with videos and the induction ceremony at 8pm.
