We're racing through history!

Anyone have any idea where the steering wheels from the 50's era hydroplanes came from? Trying to find some for my models. The closest I can get so far is a 1930s automotive 4 spoke (Bentley, MG and the other euro cars).

Since most of the boats of the time had manual steering boxes made for open wheel Sprint and Modified race cars, it's likely the steering wheels were from them too. Many of the current racing steering wheels don't look much different, so miniature race cars may be a source for you.
