We're racing through history!

Numerous shrapnel holes were visible in the engine cowling of the U-95 hydroplane after the boat was raised from Lake Washington and lifted onto its trailer at Sand Point last night. The damage occurred when one of the boat's turbine engines disintegrated and the boat sank during Sunday's Gold Cup race on Lake Washington.
