Oh yes...the first green dragon! The boat won it's first race right out of the box at Chelan in 1958. Also won the 1961 World's Championship Seafair Trophy race. It is one of my favorite races on DVD from the Bardahl racing archives. You can purchase both races on DVD from the museum's store.

The repair and updates of the 1958 Miss Bardahl are well underway. There's lots to do. We're planning on running this boat at Cour d' lene in July 2011!
If you would like to help, come down to the Hydroplane Museum Tuesday or Thursday night. We'll even feed you dinner! 200 hrs volunteering, earns you a ride in one of the boats.
