Event Description

Unlimited Hydroplane Racing returns to Doha Qatar on November 18th. It you can't travel to Doha, the next best place to watch the race will be at the Hydroplane Raceboat Museum's 3rd Annual Doha Slumber Party. Doors open at 10PM the evening of the 18th. We will provide snacks and soft drinks. The live internet feed from Doha will be project 20' x 10' on the Museum wall. Racing starts at midnight. Bring you PJ, sleeping bags and air mattresses. We will serve a hot, “home cooked” breakfast of bacon, sausage, eggs and French toast at 4 AM just before the final. H1 promises us that the problems with the live feed that plagued us last year have been resolved, so come on down and enjoy watching the race with all of your friends. Admission is $5 for Museum members and $10 for non members.

It was fun last year even with the satellite glitches. I'll be there this year, too.

I would not miss this! Huge like for the museum for doing this and a big thank-you! I've got my favorite team shirt all picked out that I am going to wear. Just want to warn all, that I cheer the team likes Red Dot and the number 17!
