Miss Thriftway Too

Thank you for the add, I live in West Australia, so do not have a lot of knowledge of these boats, my main reason for joining is to find detailed information about “Miss Thriftway Too”   I have made enquiring to Roger Crompton, Jim Clark & National Boat Racing Heritage Centre, so far without a lot of without success & hope you can help me with my quest for photos/ information                                                                                                                                                                                      Some years ago on my old computer I had the replica build of Miss Thriftway ( this hydro I think)                                                                       I’m about to build a Roger Newton plans (DOUBLE SIZED), as I have already done this to “Miss Smirnoff” some years ago that built into a 60+inch fiberglass mold, worked out quite well.                                                                                                                                                               I am after details of below, photos /information

  1. cockpit/dash/seating area
  2. the under front middle sponson dimensions etc, (reason for this, I believe the same design is on 1955 Thriftway as well)
  3. Engine cowling intakes
  4. Engine cowling top fin rear winglet

Thank you in advance for your time & interest in my project.

I was 15 years old -- and building a "Mini-Max" hydro -- in 1955. Miss Thriftway played a big role in my love affair with hydroplanes.
