"Hi Bill.  Yeah it was a Buick V-6 as I remember -but I have never heard of how it was all 'lashed' up.  Harry Volpe was crew chief and I was told another guy by the name of Adam Everett was one of the brains behind the team.…"

Harrah's Tahoe Miss, V-6 engine driving the Allison Aux stage blower. Late 60's or early 70's.

 Would it be possible for anyone who remembers or has pictures of the Tahoe Miss that had a Buick or Olds V-6 engine driving the aux stage blower please forward any information on this unique application to me. I saw the boat in Detroit in the late sixtys. I believe the name of the Crew Chief was Harry Volpe. Additional information would be appriciated.Thanks,Bill Grunow,See More

1967, Two seat Miss Budwieser.

This hull was built by Les Staudacher in 1962 for Shirley Mendelson McDonald. It ran in 1962 and 63 as the Notre Dame. In 1965 the boat was renamed Shu-Shu.In 1967, afte the 4th Miss Budweiser crashed in Tampa Florida, killing Bill Brow, Bernie Little bought the Shu-Shu and turned her into the 5th Miss Budweiser. She was driven by Mike Thomas and won the British Columbia Cup in Kelowna BC. The boat was replaced by the famous Karelsen Bud in 1968.  The hulled next raced in 1970 as the Burien…See More

 Would it be possible for anyone who remembers or has pictures of the

 Tahoe Miss that had a Buick or Olds V-6 engine driving the aux stage
