Unlimited Hydroplane Racing returns to Doha Qatar on November 18th. It you can't travel to Doha, the next best place to watch the race will be at the Hydroplane Raceboat Museum's 3rd Annual Doha Slumber Party. Doors open at 10PM the evening of the 18th. We will provide snacks and soft drinks. The live internet feed from Doha will be project 20' x 10' on the Museum wall. Racing starts at midnight. Bring you PJ, sleeping bags and air mattresses. Patrick McCarter said… - Thank You...I have a 19ft home made v-drive (Mohagany). That my father and I made in 86.Back in the day He made and raced the old wood flatbottoms. I have the last one he made.Its bigger then the ones he made for racing.This one is powered by a 460 and made for use as a ski boat,But it'll still push 60 miles an hour...I showed it at tastin-n- Racin.
